Steam – Delete Data for RE4 – Resident evil 4 data – Start RE4 A fresh
Delete RE 4 Steam data and start the game a fresh.
Hi. If you want to delete resident evil 4 data and start again what you can do is, you’ll need to go into the steam folder and then delete it. But before you do that , you are going to need to go into steam and then turn off cloud backup.
First off let’s turn off cloud backup. So you’ll go under steam. Then go into settings. And then you’ll go inside of cloud. And then you can turn off the steam cloud. And then click OK.
What that will do , is, it will ensure that, the data that is on Steam and on your computer don’t sync.
Let’s go and delete the data. Just go into the local disk. Go into program files. And then look for steam. And then we’ll come here under userdata. Then go inside of that folder. Then come into this one, this is the one that has the data for RE4.
I’m going to delete this. Delete the cache . And then this one, delete this one as well. And let’s try to play the game and see what happens. Okay. You can see that the game is asking for you to start by creating the files that we need.
